Week 30, Day 4 (Miracles DO exist.. a short post!)
Remember the blood tests I had on Thursday?
We got home from a very enjoyable afternoon out with No. 1 Grandma (my mum) to hear a cheery message on the answerphone from our midwife.
I have no idea how she got the results so soon - and on a Sunday too! - but bless her cotton socks, she rang straight through to share the love.
My tests are absolutely normal - NO GESTATIONAL DIABETES!!!
I'm still celebrating :-)) (btw a 'double' grin means it's so good my double chin is wobbling)
Antenatal #3 tonight, as well as another midwife checkup, so I'll update properly tomorrow.

Heh heh! My answer to the first part is Goodness.. um... that's so long ago I'm not sure I remember but I'm sure it was a lot less personally/physically invasive and absorbing than the reality has proven to be. The other big surprise was just how happy I am to host this adorable yet demanding little parasite. (Btw, I jokingly referred to him as my pet parasite to a client the other day, and was amazed when she erupted. Oh dear.. I do tend to forget that most people don't find my humour very funny!)
