My week in pictures (making it snappy)

The only redeeming feature of this picture is the "awww factor" of the baby! I look like seven shades of ..., there's a dummy (!!!) by the bouncinette (which sits near the CPU!), and a bottle by the monitor. But this is the pic that Wayne snapped as I typed the update about three posts back. Lerve those dark circles and grey skin, Karl!

Awake and cooing on the breastfeeding table (before he got big enough, and I got adept enough to make my knee work for him). How dark do you reckon those eyes are going to end up?

This kid doesn't so much "beam" as "evil grin". Here's the proof that the apple does not fall far from the tree!

Braeden used to hate bathtime, but he's gradually being won over. Here he is mid-attitude change, going from "WAAAAAA" to "Huh?" Wonder where he inherited that glare from ..?
Btw that's not nappy rash on his tum. I'm informed by our midwife that it's a Staph rash, and it's responding well to treatment. Uhoh.. picture time over. Kidlet awake and roaring!

Oh these pictures are delightful Karl; evil grin and glare included. What a charmer he is! Not surprised really, but it's fun to see.
Have you got one of those sling things that lets you strap the baby to your front and leaves your arms free? Seems it would make life a little simpler for you and keep him happy too, when it's not too hot.
Poor Wayne. Too bad he can't nurse for you, then at least you could send the boys off to work together each morning!
How are the four foots and feather heads adjusting?
Ahhh the sling thing! We have one, and tried it once. Seems Braeden fits it, or we do, but not two together (ie once he's in it, there's not enough room for a parent to put it on). Plus it's of a design that makes it close to impossible for one adult to put on without help (or without making it dangerous for the baby). Wayne's going to take a look at it when he gets the chance, so that maybe I can be freed from stationary nursing!
Speaking of hot .. it's in the mid 30's at the moment (and it's in the *cool* of the evening!!) and we're all sapped out. Just got baby to sleep now, after a day of fretfulness and meltdowns (the most spectacular was mine when Wayne misunderstood my mumble for a snippy comment and snapped back, LOL).
Joey continues to be entranced, and tries to compete with the baby when he cries by whistling every single off-key half song she can think of. Compete or soothe.. not sure really ;-)
Pood continues to be Auntie, and is taking her job in security extra seriously.
If those fruit thieves come back THIS year, I think they'll lose some "peaches" of their own, LOL!
